Oh, and have I mentioned this girl hates anything on her head? Her bangs come down past her nose and it’s impossible to keep her hair pinned back. Proof above. By the way…I still sometimes cannot believe how this blondie came from me?!
This photo just says it all right? Hello teenager.
In between downpours we took a few shots in the neighborhood.
Well it’s official people. I have a toddler. Surprisingly I’m not heartbroken and there are parts of this stage I’m really enjoying. Parker transitioned from crawling to full on walking right after her first birthday. Everyone said, watch out, once they start walking it’s a whole new ball game. I’m definitely doing a lot more chasing these days, but I LOVE that she can walk. Plus her orthopedic specialist said walking will hopefully help with the current status of her hips.
This girl is still little miss ‘I can do it myself.’ She refuses to let me hold her hand while walking and has shown no sign of wanting to cuddle. Ironically, she’s going through a tad bit of separation anxiety…she clings, but doesn’t cuddle. Go figure.
She continues her monthly sleep pattern of doing great for a couple of weeks and then doing not so great. We are currently in the not so great stage; she is waking up anywhere between 430 and 530 am these days. Mama no likey.
